Salva Muñoz was born in 1974 in Valencia (Spain).
He finished studying image and sound at Juan Comenius institute (Valencia) in 2000 and in 2002 he moved to Madrid where he began working as editor in TV Shows, TV promos and cinema trailers.
Since then, he has been working in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia as a freelance editor and director of commercial productions, video clips, promos, trailers, documentaries and TV Serials.
He always thought that he would like to use his professional skills and personal sensibility to develop new projects, less oriented towards the mainstream entertainment market but rather focus on the realities people face in different parts of the world. In 2011 he moved to Milan to work on different documentary projects. The same year he co directed his first film Kamenge Northern Quarters that has successfully traveled to many film festivals around the world. His next project Lion Souls came on 2012, following the success of Kamenge Northern Quarters.
Currently he is living in Athens collaborating on a number of projects and working for Paramount Channel and Comedy Central (Spain & Italy).
